Madison County garbage pickup will go to once a week service beginning June 29 for Madison County residents outside Huntsville city. Making the change to a once per week garbage pickup will produce tremendous savings for Madison County by idling gas-hogging garbage trucks and lowering fuel and maintenance costs. Huntsville city garbage customers currently receive once per week pick-up and will not experience a change in service.
