The Madison County Public Works Department provides engineering assistance to the Commissioners in construction, maintenance and repair of county roads and bridges; provides all surveying services needed by the Madison County Commission; coordinates and reviews plans of residential and commercial developments outside the incorporated areas; does heavy earthwork construction for various sites in Madison County and is responsible for the installation and maintenance of traffic control signs on Madison County roads.
